I was born in Split, Croatia, where I spent my childhood and youth and among other activities I graduated from high school. In ljubljana, Slovenia, I got my degree at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of architecture. Later i spent two years in USA and there I took several courses of photography at the University of Gainsville, Florida. I live and create in Slovenia and Croatia.
Upon return from the USA to Ljubljana in the year of 1979, I joined an established group of photographers „Photo group Delo“ which was supported by main newspaper in Slovenia DELO.
My photographic career can be divided in two periods.
In the first one (1979-1989) I was working as an architect, while in my free time I was involved in photography. I took part in more than 150 group exibitions home and abroad and I set up 6 exibitions of my own and I was awarded with numerous prizes and acknowledgements. My photography »HAPPINESS« is included in the encyclopedia of Slovene photography «Act in Slovenia«, which I am very proud of.
In the second period starting in 2010, almost after twenty years of pause caused by many other duties, the major was raising twins, I came back to photography with all my energy. Besides the challenges in architecture, the sphere of my interests are searches in photography, writting and voluntary work in which I daily look for the answer on the urgent question of our days: What can we do for the others?
